Stronger Together:

A 6 Week Marriage Reset for Couples

The Reality Most Couples Don't Talk About

Marriage rarely falls apart all at once.

It drifts. Slowly. Through exhaustion, unspoken frustration, repeated arguments that go nowhere, and the quiet distance that builds when two people stop truly connecting.

Most husbands aren't unwilling — they're untrained. Most wives aren't asking for too much — they're just worn out from carrying the emotional weight alone.

Stronger Together was created for couples who still love each other but know something has to change.

How It Works

Husbands and wives meet in separate, gender-specific groups at the same time — each led by a licensed therapist, each working through the same themes from their own perspective.

You grow individually. You practice together at home. You come back the next week and go deeper.

Every session is grounded in the Gottman Method — the most extensively researched approach to marriage in the world.

6 weeks. 6 sessions. 90 minutes each. Saturdays, 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM March 21 – April 25

The 6-Week Journey

Week 1 — Rebuilding Friendship How well do you actually know your partner right now? We start where every strong marriage starts — not with conflict resolution, but with genuine connection.

Week 2 — Turning Toward Each Other Small moments matter more than grand gestures. This week focuses on recognizing and responding to the everyday bids for connection that make or break intimacy.

Week 3 — Conflict Without Combat Not all conflict is the same. Learn to tell the difference between problems that can be solved and the perpetual ones that need a completely different approach.

Week 4 — Eliminating the Four Horsemen Criticism. Defensiveness. Contempt. Stonewalling. These four patterns predict relationship breakdown — and all four can be unlearned.

Week 5 — Repair and Trust Strong marriages aren't conflict-free. They recover well. This week is about how to come back to each other after things go sideways.

Week 6 — A Shared Vision What kind of marriage do you actually want to build? We close by looking forward — and giving you a framework to keep growing long after the group ends.

Each week includes structured take-home exercises to practice what you've learned with your spouse.

For Husbands

Led by Todd Nall, LPC

No one ever taught most of us how to do this — how to respond when emotions run high, how to hear criticism without shutting down, how to repair after a sharp word, how to lead in our marriage not just logistically but emotionally.

In this group, men talk openly — without posturing, without the pressure of having to perform. We'll get into why we go quiet, why we get defensive, why it sometimes feels like we can't win no matter what we do — and what to actually do instead.

This group is for husbands who:

  • Love their wife but feel the distance growing

  • Are tired of the same arguments leading nowhere

  • Want to lead their marriage with steadiness and skill

  • Are ready to grow — not because they have to, but because they want to

For Wives

Led by Vandi Nall, LPC

So many women describe the same feeling: carrying the emotional weight of the relationship, not feeling truly heard, loving their husband but missing the closeness they used to have.

This group is a space to be honest — about the exhaustion, the unmet needs, the communication patterns that keep escalating — without blame and without pretense. You'll leave with real tools: how to express what you need clearly, how to break cycles that aren't working, how to rebuild the trust and friendship that's at the core of every healthy marriage.

This group is for wives who:

  • Want to feel emotionally connected again

  • Are tired of repeating the same conversations

  • Want communication skills that actually work

  • Still believe their marriage is worth investing in

Who This Is Not For

These groups are not appropriate for couples navigating active affairs, abuse, or imminent separation. A screening conversation will take place before enrollment.

This is Me.

I’m interested in getting more information.

What if you are exactly where you need to be and with a little support, perspective, and some much needed nurturing you could find a path forward?

Life is filled with transitions, change, and unanticipated bumps in the road. The struggle is real and can be disorienting. Sometimes we just need a little support, some clarity, some tools to help us cope along the way.

This woman's life transition group is a safe place to come and process your struggles, receive support from group members, explore and make meaning out of your current situation, learn healthy coping and interpersonal and communication skills, build self-esteem, and flourish!

  • Members will explore their coping and relational patterns,

  • learn how to communicate assertively,

  • set boundaries, and explore their identity,

  • strengths, and capacities, in order to better navigate current and future life challenges.

The primary focus of this group is gaining support, connection, healthy coping, life skills, and installation of hope through exploration of  your capacity for resilience and growth.

Individuals struggling with feeling stuck, unmotivated depressed, anxious, fearful, uncertain about their future, and/or unequipped to cope or move forward from their life current challenge would benefit from this group.

Each one of us is on our own journey, but you are not alone!

The primary focus of this group is building support, connection, and knowing you aren’t alone!

This interactive, psycho-educational, process group is designed for women 25- 40. Group will meet for 6 consecutive weeks.

"Phasing Through Life" Women's support group is essential and needed in our community, as we understand the challenges and obstacles women face while having the expectations of others to have it all figured out—life, career, relationship, identity, self-esteem, finances, family mediator/peacemaker, etc. Yet, life has an interesting way of changing plans, and you are left to adjust, adapt, and figure out how to “phase through” your situation. While- being a mom, wife, partner, daughter, full-time employee, or a woman trying to find a balance. We are here to phase through the journey with you over the next six weeks to provide you with the support, tools, resources, and community to help you along your journey.
